I bought a Better Homes and Gardens cookbook in 1970 when I was a young person on my own. It was wonderful, filled with great and easy to make recipes. I foolishly gave it away a few years ago and tried to replace it with this cookbook, hoping to find some of the terrific recipes that the old version had. This cookbook is filled with pictures and useless information. I experienced sensory overload trying to use it. The book looks nice on my shelf but is useless to me. Chorizo-Chicken Burgers? Chile-Lime Turkey Patties? The old cookbook had real food.Come on, BH & G. Most people don't even cook at home anymore. Why didn't you just republish your great cookbook?
